Materials Research

The field of Polymeric Materials research has experienced a worldwide boom during the last two decades- There have been a number of important developments in materials research, which have led directly to greater adaptability, durability and lower price. In the area of Materials technology we are able to reproduce any transformation process that relates to polymers. We are also able to solve problems and improve the quality of the finished product. At our laboratories, we are also able to evaluate and design the most current, reliable methods of transformation of materials The Materials Research team is composed of three doctors, one post-doctorate, and two engineers that focus primarily on:

•  Development and Formulation of compounds of rubber.
•  Processing of plastics, composite materials and hybrids
•  Reology of Polymers, suspensions and emulsions
•  Floculants
•  Coatings
•  Reactive Injection Molding
•  Adhesives (limited)

In support of the industry we developed these new products:

•  Recycling of Polymeric Residues
•  Nanomaterials
•  Plastics and Composites
