This area of engineering was created at CIATEC in 1984. The area consists of consultancies that are responsible for the following:
- Reporting to the General Consultants assigned to the Council of Standardization and Certification of Labor Competence (CONOCER).
- Reporting to the Special Consultants assigned to the Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT).
Personnel with more than 20 years of experience, training in diverse disciplines such as:
- Electronics
- Programmable Logical Controls (PLC´s)
- Industrial Process Control
- Industrial Instrumentation
- Electricity
- Saving of Electrical Energy
- Determination of Electrical Risk
- Hydrolics
- Neumatics
The personnel in this area participate in various areas, such as the following:
- Training of Human Resources in the specialization of Electronics, Electricity and Mechanics.
- Development of Machinery and Specific-use equipment.
