Since the early years of CIATEC, the Chemical Analysis Laboratory has conducted chemical analysis to serve the quality control needs of the footwear and tanning industries. Today this area has diversified and grown substantially to include the area of environment.
In the field of Environmental Analysis Laboratories we offer analysis that is able to serve any type of industry- Our principal focus is on water, land, air quality and waste.
Currently, we offer the following types of analysis:
- Chemical Analysis of raw materials used in the Tanning Industry
- Analysis of chromium and vegetable leather tanning
- Physical chemical characterization of materials and products such as: polymers adhesives, textile fibers, solvants and organic compounds in general.
- Necessary determinations for export of products in the leather and shoemaking industry.
- Sampling and analysis of industrial solid waste (analysis CRETIB).
- Sampling and analysis of residual and drinkable water under the respective norms.
- Analysis of products in general such as: Analysis of solvants, antioxidants, plasticize and other additives.
- Specific Physical Testing, such as Density, Humidity, Fusion point, Distillation range, Indices of Hydroxyl Content, Acidity content, identification of materials by different techniques such as FTIR, GC/MS, ICP, solid content percentage, etc.
