IN THE AREAS OF

WASTEWATER TREATMENT
We develop and adapt new technologies that allow the treatment of local and industrial wastewater by advanced techniques such as:
- Advanced oxidation processes
- Electrochemical processes
- Coagulation-Flocculation
- Filtering
- Adsorption and biological processes
Wastewater treatment pilot plant, allows us to evaluate and scale processes designed in the laboratory to the industrial level.

WATER POTABILIZATION
We develop technologies and materials based in filtration processes, adsorption and electrochemistry for remove pollutants.

WATER QUALITY MONITORING
We have advanced infrastructure for the analysis of more than 110 pollutants in water including several anions, cations, aminoacids, dyes, pesticides, food additives, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, etc.
We can determine basic water parameters including color, smell, taste, turbidity, COD, BOD, pH, conductivity, sulfides, fatty acids, oils, total organic carbon and can perform biological analysis.

REVALORIZATON, TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL OF INDUSTRIAL RESIDUES.
We formulate novel materials, with commercial potential that reduce the environmental impact caused by the industrial waste.

SOIL EVALUATION AND TREATMENT.
We offer soil remediation projects in small, medium and large periods of time in/on polluted places.

OLFATOMETRY, BIOAEROSOLS AND ENVIRONMENTAL AIR QUALITY
OLFATOMETRY
- Our Olfatometry lab is established in accordance with the UNE-EN 13725 Standard.
- CIATEC can determine odor concentrations (ue/m3).
- Odor measurements for farms, including those that raise poultry and swine.
BIOAEROSOLS
- Measurement and quantification of pathogen micro-organisms in air.
STUDIES OF THE AIR QUALITY
- Measurement of air particulate dispersion (PM10).
- Determination of pollutants dispersion affected zones.
