CIATEC focuses on the development of research projects in the area of polymers, nanocomposites, flame retardant materials, and biomaterials, efforts follow from basic research to their application in the industry.
LABORATORY OF MATERIALS CHARACTERIZATION
Contains instruments and test equipment to perform calorimetry (DSC), rheology, dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), and infrared (FT-IR) testing on materials; These are used to identify, characterize, and understand the physical-chemical properties of materials.
FOCUS OF THE LABORATORY
CIATEC develops materials research projects for application in the automotive and aeronautical industry.

Belongs to the "Researchers for Mexico" Program
PhD in Advanced Technology, specializing in reducing the complexity of product and process design. His research interests are not just theoretical, but also have practical applications. He is focused on the study of production architectures using computational geometry reinforced with artificial intelligence, the manufacturing, and analysis of zinc and aluminum alloys in microgeometry settings, high-entropy alloys, and the development of non-destructive testing methods. He is particularly interested in commercial projects that cover the entire spectrum of product and process development, from design and development to production and marketing.
He is a National System of Researchers (SNII) Level 1 member.
